Adjudication of misdeamenor violations of state law and city ordinances that occur only within the Superior City limits. Speeding tickets, Fish and Game violations and all other violations occuring outside of the city limits and within Mineral County are adjudicated at the Mineral County Justice Court. Temporary Orders of Protection, Small Claims and Civil Court filings up to $7000, Landlord Tenant actions are also handled through the Mineral County Justice Court. Initial appearances for cases in the Town Court of Superior are held at the Law Enforcement Annex Courtroom, Mondays 3pm-4:30pm and Thursdays 9:00am-11:00am. You must first check in at the Justice Court Office located on the lower level of the Courthouse 1st door on the left. To reschedule an appearance date you must first call the Justice Court office at (406)822-3550 and obtain approval from Judge Wanda James. The City Court clerk is in only on Monday's 10:00am-12:00pm voice mail can be left at the (406)822-4672 number and following the prompts. Payments maybe either mailed to Town Court of Superior; PO Box 729; Superior, MT 59872 or taken to the Justice Court office in the lower level of the Courthouse.
