The Bobcats owned the court and the attention of the crowd on Friday night in Superior as the hometown boys hosted Florence in the final game before the winter break.

Superior got 19 points from Cody Hollenback in the victory as the Bobcats clawed back from an early first quarter deficit, 13-11, to outscore Florence 13-3 in the second quarter and 19-13 in the final frame giving the hometown boys a large enough cushion for the win.

The win balanced the books for the week - Superior fell to Blackhawks 57-48 on Thursday night in Seeley)

In the win Jeff Gaston grabbed 11 rebounds and chipped in 11 points while Nate Suckow scored 10, Scott Wilkinson went for eight, Josh Stroot added six and Doug Case dropped a deuce.

When asked how Friday nightís game was different than Thursday nightís game, coach Lucier commented that the boys where hitting more shots and did better from the free throw line. Cody Hollenback helped by nailing more 3 point shots.

Coach Lucier expects the boys to get better as they go along, as of now they donít block out, donít follow through on their shots, and they leave their feet too much.

Coach Lucier says these are all things they will be working on this next half of the season.
