Godin, Superior Senior, takes state B-C crown in tennis
(Missoula)--Make a little room on the trophy case Superior. Lady Bobcat JaNece Godin defeated Amber Keil of Conrad in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0 for a 2-0 win at the Class B-C state tennis tournament, earning herself the singles state title Saturday afternoon at the University of Montana in Missoula.

Burkland finishes strong season
Ryanne Burkland was St. Regis’ lone member of the girls’ track team this season. She challenged herself all season long to run faster, throw longer and jump further and each week she met those goals. Though she didn’t advance to the state meet after competing in the Class C Divisional meet in Missoula on Friday and Saturday, she did set some school records the week before.

BILLINGS - It was a long wait for the Alberton Panthers.
The Panthers unleashed 35 years of pent up emotion on Hays-Lodgepole on Thursday afternoon at the State C boys’ basketball tournament at Billings Metra.

Alberton not satisfied with just making it to tourney
Advancing to the State C boys' basketball tournament was no small step for No. 9 Alberton. It was a giant leap.
When the Panthers hit the hardwood for their 2:30 p.m. first-round battle Thursday against unranked Hays-Lodgepole at MetraPark Arena in Billings, they'll be playing in their first state tournament in 35 years. They'll also be searching for their first-ever victory at a state tourney.
